Emilio John Damasco, Principal Attorney
Emilio John Damasco was raised in San Diego and enjoyed his "local" status since 1972. He has a loving wife Carrie and two children, Kayla and Drake whom he enjoys coaching and practicing football and baseball with.
After receiving his undergraduate degree from San Diego State University in 1990, John attended Whittier Law School and graduated in 1995 with his Juris Doctorate. While at Whittier Law School, John earned the following Awards: American Jurisprudence Award in Criminal Procedure, Torts and Real Property; West Publishing Award for Outstanding Student Scholar; Academic Scholarships Awards in all three (3) years of law school; and Dean’s List. John also served as an Editor for the Whittier Law Review.

Since 1995, Principal Attorney John Damasco has gained extensive experience in cases of Family Law, Bankruptcy, Wills and Trusts, Civil Litigation, Criminal Defense and Personal Injury. Thanks to his history practicing in broad areas of the law, John can give an analysis of your case from several different viewpoints and offer a fresh perspective.
Michael R. Juarez, Senior Attorney
Michael R. Juarez is licensed to practice law within the State of California and before the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California since 2012. While working with E. John Damasco, Attorney Juarez continues to successfully practice in the areas of Family, Criminal, Juvenile, Civil, and Estate Planning.
After graduating from University of California, Santa Barbara in 2008, Michael obtained his Juris Doctorate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2011. While at TJSL he volunteered with the Veterans Legal Assistace Clinic and practiced law as a Certified Law Student. Michael was also an avid member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Competition Team and served as the Vice President in his final year of law school.
Outside of his professional life, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
David Neinchel, Of Counsel
David Neinchel is our Bankruptcy Attorney. He handles both Chapter 7 and complicated Chapter 13 cases.
He graduated from California Western School of Law and has been practicing since 2010. He has been a member of the firm since 2011.
Kayla Araujo, Associate Attorney
Kayla Araujo is the newest addition to our firm. She is well versed in Federal and CA Evidence, Contracts, Family Law, Traffic Matters, and Estate Planning, and is ready to assist you with your legal needs.
Kayla initially joined our office as a legal assistant in 2015. After receiving her BA in Economics from San Diego State University, Kayla began her journey to earning her Juris Doctorate at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2022 and joined our office as an associate attorney soon after.
